1. What is GP Academy?
GP Academy or Grameenphone Academy is an online learning platform designed for university students. The career skills academy exists to empower students from various backgrounds with skills to be future-fit professionals who are ready to excel on the global front.
2. Who can use GP Academy?
Anyone can use the platform after signing up to the platform by completing the sign up/registration form. After the registration is complete, registered users can log in using their credentials and enroll in the courses.
3. What is available in GP Academy?
GP Academy currently offer 3 types of courses – Career Launchpad,
Accelerating Entrepreneurship and Future Skills
4. What is Career Launchpad?
Career Launchpad is a foundational program designed for
graduating students. The program bridges the gap between academia and the
workplace as it grooms students on how to be ready for the workplace in ways
that the classroom lessons alone cannot provide. This course is free for all.
5. What is Accelerating Entrepreneurship?
This course, powered by GP Accelerator brings the fundamental
understanding of entrepreneurship to help develop the right mindset of an
entrepreneur. Kick-start your ideas and equip yourself with the skills needed
to take the next step with more confidence. The content is to be prepared in a
way that an enthusiastic startup will get clear guidance on basic learning even
if no mentor is around. It follows an informed curriculum with 10 modules that
will guide any youth with a startup idea. This course is free for all.
6. What is Future Skills program?
The Future Skills program provides the skills for the 4IR
world. These courses offered in partnership with Cisco Networking Academy is
aimed to provide students with skills in Cybersecurity, Internet of Things
(IoT), and Python Programming. Currently these courses need special enrollment
method and users must submit a request along with a reason for why they want to
do this course. Our content experts will evaluate the request and approve the
request on a case-by-case basis.
7. What is the benefit of doing the courses
in GP Academy?
Upon successful completion of the courses
in GP Academy and passing all the quizzes in their enrolled courses, users will
be able to achieve a Certificate of Recognition from GP Academy and verified by
Grameenphone that will certify the student has attained those skills.
8. How do I register for the platform?
Users must first register their account
by going to https://grameenphone.academy/home/sign_up
and fill up the registration form. After filling up the registration form, users
will receive a verification email in their registered email address with a code
which they will have to input on the website to complete their registration.
Once the verification is complete, users will be able to log in using their
credentials.
9. I have not received the verification code. What should I do?
Please ensure that you have checked your Spam/Junk folder in
your email inbox for an email from GP Academy. The email will have the subject “Activate
your GP Academy account” and will be sent from “noreply@grameenphone.academy”.
If you still haven’t received the email, please email us at gpacademy@grameenphone.com mentioning
your full name and the email address used to register and we will get back to
you immediately.
10. How do I log in to the platform?
Users can log in to the platform by clicking
the log in button at https://grameenphone.academy
or by going to https://grameenphone.academy/home/login.
The users can then login using the credentials used during their registration
process.
11. I have forgotten my password. What should
I do?
Simply click on the “Forgot Password” link
below the login form and follow the steps shown on screen to reset your password.
12. I have not received the reset password by
email. What should I do?
Please email us at gpacademy@grameenphone.com with
your full name and registered email address and we will try to reset your
password and reply to you immediately.
13. Will I have to pay to register for the platform?
No, registration for the platform is fully free.
14. How much will it cost to enroll in the courses?
Currently, all the courses available in the platform are
free and students can enroll in these courses and view the contents and give the
quizzes without any payment. However, if the user is on mobile data, data
charges will be applicable.
15. Is there any app for GP Academy?
No, we don’t have any app (Android or iOS) for GP Academy
yet.
