In collaboration with Learning Bangladesh, Grameenphone Academy hosted an exclusive workshop, "Advanced Skills for Professional Landscape" on December 12, 2024 at GP House. The event brought together aspiring professionals and industry leaders for a transformative day of learning, inspiration, and networking.
The session was inaugurated by Abul Kasem Mohiuddin Al-Amin, Head of Network Services at Grameenphone, who inspired the audience with his profound insights on personal growth and professional development. He emphasized the importance of having a clear reflection of oneself and the drive to improve, saying, “Having the right reflection of yourself is very important, try to improve an inch of yourself every day.” He encouraged the participants to love their work, enjoy what they do, and approach leadership as a deliberate choice rather than a position of authority. Through his captivating speech, he reminded everyone to avoid “shooting in the dark” and instead be intentional with their actions. He also highlighted the importance of building trust through performance, leveraging networks effectively, and collaborating with purpose. He shared an inspiring analogy, stating, “Diamonds are formed under extreme heat and pressure—those who can endure challenges will shine.”
He urged the audience to embrace hard work and practice as the ultimate differentiators, to use their time wisely, and to rise above negativity. “We are not great people; we are just people. With so many expectations around you, be sincere to yourself, work hard, and do only good things,” he added. His speech was a call to action for participants to take ownership of their journeys, think deeply before every decision, and strive to be better versions of themselves each day.
The program also featured guest speaker Sabbir Ahmed, Founder of Learning Bangladesh, who led several impactful sessions tailored to today’s fast-paced professional landscape.
He led an engaging session covering Mastering ChatGPT, CV Writing Mastery, LinkedIn Optimization, and Facebook Ads on a Budget. He demonstrated how to craft effective ChatGPT prompts, create standout resumes, optimize LinkedIn profiles for career growth, and design impactful digital marketing campaigns with minimal budgets, equipping participants with essential skills for personal and professional success.
The day-long event was a testament to GP Academy’s commitment to equipping youth with the skills and tools they need to excel in today’s competitive professional world. From leadership lessons to hands-on workshops, the participants left inspired, informed, and ready to embrace their journeys ahead.
